Exquisite Falcon Brooch with a Red Cabochon Eye from the 1960's "Crown Trifari Birds of Fashion Collection".
It is rare to find the set of both brooch and Earrings...A Must for the Vintage Trifari collector
Trifari advertised this collection stating,
"Don't cage them... wear them!"
The falcon in flight pin is very dimensional. It's a beautifully constructed piece by Trifari that was carefully set in brushed and shiny gold tones, has a bright
red cabochon eye
and a roll over clasp that works.
On the back side of the brooch is the
Crown Trifari maker's mark
that was only used from 1955 - 1969. The Crown above the T of Trifari along with the copyright symbol.
The brooch measures
Approximately 2.75" x 2.5"
Condition: It is in nice vintage condition, was previously worn and shows slight usual ware for it's age. Please view all photos as they serve as part of the description, I am sorry, I could not get a good photo of the Maker's Mark, but it is there.
