Beautiful Vintage authentic hand made and hand painted Islamic Persian Turkish charger signed by monogram “M”. Acquired by prior owner in Turkey.
Measures approximately 10 1/2” inch diameter.
Mark: iron red monogram “M”, hand written back of plate.
CONDITION: previously owned. Does not appear to have been used. Hand painted. Hand thrown on potter’s wheel. Islamic/Turkish designs. Very good craftsmanship, hand thrown on pottery wheel. Glaze crazing all over. A lot fritting in the clay. Small nick on top edge of plate. Later small drilled hole in bottom edge rim. No chips, cracks, scratches.
