    Description

    Condition AS-IS with significant chips and cracks as shown, but still worthy of a collector's shelf.  This is a petite porcelain creamer with a transfer image of the NORMAL SCHOOL, PRESQUE ISLE, MAINE.    Made in Vienna, Austria by B. D. & C. for Chandler and Son of Presque Isle, Maine.  Signed on underside as shown.  These were the original two buildings of what is now the University of Maine at Presque Isle.  The piece is early 1900's era.  Top and bottom rim have chips and there is a hairline crack stemming from one chip as shown. Still a great piece of souvenir china from a bygone era.  Very rare souvenir from this area of far northern Maine.
